Medical result ...

Well thanks to all that were praying about my medical test last week. You will be glad to hear that I passed and am again the proud owner of a Class II medical (the type needed to fly in the mission field). Although I passed, it seems my eyesight is starting to get worse, and although one is really good, the other is starting to get border-line. I still have plenty of options for the future, such as a new prescription, laser treatment, or even a medical signoff that wavers the bad eye as my other one easily compensates. Either way, I'm good for another year or two, but long term I'll need to decide how best to proceed.

Thanks again for all the prayer support, it's really making a difference day to day!

Some crazy class mates

So I had a birthday last month. I thought I had kept it a secret but unfortunately for me the secretary at school is pretty organised and let it slip to a few class mates. When I arrived into school, most of the class was wearing something green or from Ireland. Some (pictured below) painted their faces and one guy actually shaved his head ... sorry half of his head ... and painted it green. Check out the picture below, it has to be seen to be believed. I had a great day, and really appreciated the guys making a big day out of my birthday. There's now a bit of pressure on me when its their birthdays, maybe I could try to GROW hair on half my head Tongue out

Let it snow ... let it snow ... let it snow

OK so this was about a week ago, but we got our first snow on the ground. It didn't stay more than a day or so but was a nice surprise all the same. Looking forward to more of the same.

Since this, its warmed back up again to around and a normal day is around 4 ~ 10 deg C. Apparently the last few winters have been pretty light but the forecast this year is for a bad one ... which means that the temperatures could get as low as -40 degrees C! Think its time to get a decent jacket (and definitely a warm hat). I think I'm going to miss California.
