Planes, Trains and Automobiles
Not quite in that order, but after being up for about 45 hours, and travelling for 27 of those hours, I eventually arrived in Grand Rapids. Everything has worked out so well and I should be moving into my apartment in about 2 weeks time. Until then a wonderful couple are putting me up (or is it putting up with me?), which is absolutely great.
My first flight will be on Friday and that now gives me some time to get familiar with the area and try to remember which end of the plane is the front. I called out to the school today and got to meet a lot of the staff and mechanical students. They are just finishing the course that I will be starting in August and it was really encouraging to chat with them and get a feel for the coming year. I left the guided tour with a real sence of excitement and really can't wait to start flying on Friday.
Anyway ... just wanted to let you all know that I arrived in one piece. Talk soon ... Nev

What time is it?
Its nearly 1am and I'm due to leave for the airport at 2. So much for trying to get some sleep before I headed off for the States! I guess some things never change.
Anyway, I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for a great 2 weeks here at home. Its been busy but brilliant. For those I got to meet with, thanks for everything ... and for those that i missed, I'm really sorry that time beat us.
Thanks also to everyone who came out to the praise night last Sat night. It was a great time of praise and was a really special night.
Well ... I guess I better make sure my passport and toothbrush are packed. Keep watching this space for updates and remember to keep in touch via email or skype.
Be blessed .... Nev
